How Client X Is Fully Booked For 2025 Weddings With Social Media Strategies

Client X is a photographer who specializes in wedding, family sessions, creating beautiful and timeless photos for her clients. In June 2024, Client X contacted Rylee Marks Marketing to grow her client base and reach more potential brides for her 2025 wedding calendar.

Challenges Before June 2024: Before we started working together, Client X face two significant challenges

  • Need for More Clients - Although Client X had a solid social media following, many of her followers were fellow photographers rather than potential clients. She needed a strategy to attract more followers who were likely to book her services.

  • Client Conversion - While engagement with her content was decent, converting that engagement into bookings for weddings was a struggle.

Strategies Implemented

After identifying these challenges, we developed a tailored strategy to address Client X’s specific needs:

Target Content Strategy:

We focused on creating high-quality, personalized content aimed at her ideal clientele: brides and families. This included showcasing real wedding stories, “Day In My Life” videos, and seasonal fall and winter wedding visuals. These types of content helped establish a deeper connection with potential clients rather than just photographers.

Reels and Unique Videos:

We leaned heavily on creating engaging Reels, which performed very well. For instance, “Day In My Life” Reel had great reach, with 1,200 accounts reached and 91 likes. The use of relevant hashtags and tagging wedding venues and couple helped her posts reach her target audience.

Increasing Client-Focused Engagement:

A concerted effort was made to engage with potential clients through direct messaging and comments, creating conversations that led to inquires and bookings. We ensured that her engagement strategy aligned with potential brides and families rather than industry peers.

Hashtag Strategy:

By implementing a more refined hashtag strategy, Client X’s posts reached a broader audience of brides looking for photographers. This increased her visibility among potential clients and helped her convert followers into inquiries.

Results:

  • Fully Booked for 2025 Wedding’s - In mid-September 2024, Client X reached an incredible milestone - she is fully booked for 2025 weddings. The new strategies helped her convert social media followers into paying clients faster than anticipated.

  • Follower Growth - From June to September, her follower count grew steadily, reaching 1,922 by September 2024. While the focus was on client conversion rather than follower growth alone, the increase helped build more credibility.

  • Increased Engagement - Engagement rose from 580 in July to 788 by September. While the engagement number may seem modest, the quality of the engagement shifted, with more potential clients interacting with her posts and sending inquiries.
